Tom Maher, founder of Maher Law, was invited to speak recently at R3’s annual conference in St Andrews, UK. R3’s annual conference is the UK’s leading insolvency & restructuring conference for insolvency practitioners and lawyers. This year’s event was held in May 2024 at the prestigious Fairmont Hotel St Andrews and was attended by over 270 senior insolvency industry delegates.
Tom joined Gordon Wilson (FRP Isle of Man), Simon Heggs (Collas Crill), Greig Mitchell (Krys Global) and Anthony Williams (Appleby) on two panels discussing trends in offshore insolvency. Together the speakers discussed their experiences of dealing with complex insolvency matters in over 60 jurisdictions.
